Your town council is made up of 12 members who are elected for a 4-year term. The next Parish and Town Council election will be in 2015. A bi-election is held when a Councillor resigns for one reason or another during the term. The Council employs two administrative officers,who also run the Public Information Point.
The councillors also sit on committees and act as representatives to external,town organisations.
