Due to the overwhelming success of the free organic compost delivered to the Winchester Road allotments site in November,courtesy of Jody Scheckter,a second delivery is being planned for Friday 7th December.
The first five ton delivery of organic compost was so enthusiastically collected by allotment holders in a convoy of wheelbarrows,that it almost disappeared overnight!
This next free delivery will enable other allotment holders and gardeners in the town,to collect some of the sweet smelling organic compost for their own gardens.
So hurry up and get your shovels and wheelbarrows moving, because once it’s gone it gone!
And a very big thank you to Jody Scheckter for his very much appreciated gesture to the gardeners of Whitchurch.
